OpenSans theme for Caffeinated app

Here I am with another theme for the upcoming Caffeinated Mac app by GeekyGoodness. In case you are not familiar with it, Caffeinated app is a new RSS reader that syncs with Google Reader. The app is now in the last beta stage and it will be release to the Mac AppStore in a couple of weeks. I have been beta testing the app and also creating my own themes.

This is my latest creation. It is based on Mail app and uses OpenSans Light (you can check it in Google Fonts), one of my favorite fonts.

I hope you like it. Please download it from this link

Please make sure that you leave your comments here with suggestions, bugs, improvements... anything :)

WorldCard Mobile iPhone app review

Welcome back after the new year holidays. This is my first review for 2012. And I am starting the year with WorldCard Mobile app for iPhone from Penpower.

Do you work on the corporate environment? Do you get business cards from people you meet every day? Are you tired of typing in all the data into your iPhone? Then you should have a look at WorldCard Mobile. These guys have been working in all kind of optical character recognition devices and software so they really know how to make good software for it.

Let's have a look at the app.

Simple theme for Caffeinated app updated

You might have heard about Caffeinated app. It is an amazing rss reader under development. You can follow more about the development on twitter @caffeinatedapp or at GeekyGoodness site.

Send to Yorufukurou NetNewsWire Applescript

If you use NetNewsWire 3.3 in order to read RSS news and YoruFukurou as your twitter reader, you might be interested on this script that I created. Just place the script in the NetNewsWire script folder and use it to send the news item title and URL to YoruFukurou. A growl notification will be shown. After that, just send the tweet using for instance cmd+Enter keys in YoruFukurou.

I am not sure if this script will work with the free NetNewsWire Lite from the app store.

Please download it here.

Monitor for Facebook review

I wanted to write a few lines about Monitor for Facebook. Some years ago, Facebook itself released a notification system for Mac that worked very well. It was a menubar app that would send a growl notification whenever a new facebook notification or message was arriving. For some strange reason the project was left without any update and the app stopped working after facebook was updated. But a solution is now available.
