New MacBook Pro 15 inch Retina on the way

I decided to change my MacBook Air 11 inch (year 2010 model) for a brand new MacBook Pro 15 inch Retina display.

Why that big jump from 11 inch to 15? Actually the time that I bought my MBA I was travelling often because of work. I was always carrying my work laptop and my personal one, so I wanted something as light as possible. Later on, iPad came and (I own now an iPad Air), and it became my travelling device. Besides that, my work profile has changed and I do not need to travel much, so a 15 inch Retina screen is great for home as my primary computer. And I was so tired so seeing pixels on my computer :)

Possibly a short review might come shortly.

SuperCal 2 for iPhone review

As you know, calendar apps are my favourites. I have to confess that I am obsessed with organisation and having everything under control, so that is why I think I am such a big fan of these apps. Today I am here to review SuperCal 2, a calendar app by Devart, that I have been using the last week.

Chat Heads for Mac review

Here I am after long time with a new review, this time Chat Heads for Mac.

Are you a Facebook addict? Do you spend lots of time chatting with your friends in Facebook? Do you like the heads interface in iOS and Android? Then, if you own a Mac, this app is for you.

iPad Air is in the house

After thinking about it I decided to sell my black iPad 3rd Gen 32GB WiFi and get a brand new white iPad Air 64GB WiFi & Cellular.

The reasons to do this:
- lighter weight and less volume
- more storage
- cellular connection for my daily commute to work

Device feels faster than my previous 3rd gen iPad, but anyway, my old iPad didn't feel slow either. iOS7 feels very snappy.

Now I am trying to decide which cover or case I will take. I do not want to add more weight, but still I want to feel it is protected. Any suggestion?

Nokia Lumia 1020 Pure View Windows Phone 8 review

Thanks to a friend of mine I was lucky enough to test a Nokia Lumia 1020 for a week. I will not go in too much detail with the operating system as I already reviewed Nokia 820 with Windows Phone 8 previously (please check my previous posts http://www.gadgetero.net/2013/04/nokia-lumia-820-review.html).

Words app for Mac review

Welcome to another review, this time, Words app for Mac by NewNet Soft.

I am a daily user of "read later" services. Right now I am more into Readability, but I have used Instapaper for a long time and eventually Pocket. I like to save articles to read later when I have time. I also use this service as a way to keep my favourite articles, even I have already read them. It is nice to have them with you at all times, even when you are "offline".

These last weeks I have had the chance to try Words app and here it is my review.
